Why Dogivo exists
Organizing a gift with several people is a chore that keeps coming back, and that nothing has ever really made simpler. Ideas get lost in a group chat, no one knows who has paid, and one person ends up chasing everyone, one by one. When they don’t just cover the difference themselves.
Money pot platforms solve part of the problem, collecting the money, and take a fee along the way. They don’t solve the rest: choosing the gift, deciding together, sending reminders without making anyone uncomfortable. Dogivo was born from that observation.
Why no fees
Dogivo takes nothing because it collects nothing. The organizer shares their payment details, each contributor pays them directly, and the app is there to organize: suggest, vote, track, remind. The money never goes through us.
This isn’t a launch offer. It’s a consequence of how the app works, so it’s permanent. The features page shows everything the app does along the way. In the long run, Dogivo plans to fund itself through brand partnerships. Any sponsored suggestion will be clearly labeled.
The founder
Yves Neff is the founder of Dogivo. French-German, a mechatronics engineer trained in Karlsruhe, he lives in Alsace and develops Dogivo alongside a master’s degree in robotics and artificial intelligence.
