1. Publisher and Hosting

2. Purpose of the Service

Dogivo provides a coordination tool for organizing group gifts. The Platform lets users gather ideas, vote, track pledged contributions and access the payment information provided by the organizer.

Important: Dogivo is not a payment service. No financial transaction goes through Dogivo's servers.

3. Acceptance and Access

Accessing and using the Platform constitutes unreserved acceptance of these Terms.

• Age: Dogivo is open to minors. However, in accordance with the GDPR, minors under 15 must obtain the consent of a holder of parental authority to use the service and for their data to be collected.
• Accounts: Access is possible by creating an account or as a guest (nickname). Users are responsible for keeping their login details confidential.

4. Free Access and Changes to the Model

Access to Dogivo is currently 100% free for individual users. Dogivo reserves the right to monetize the Platform later, in particular through:

• Partnerships with companies.
• Affiliate links to third-party merchant sites. Users are informed that Dogivo may receive a commission on purchases made through these links.

5. Partner Links and Affiliate Programs

Dogivo takes part in affiliate programs, including the Amazon EU Associates Programme. As an Amazon Associate, Dogivo earns from qualifying purchases.

When a product added to a list or a collection comes from a partner merchant, the button that leads to the product may contain an identifier specific to Dogivo. If a purchase is made after this click, the merchant pays Dogivo a commission. This commission is paid by the merchant: it changes neither the price, nor the terms of sale, nor the buyer's rights. These links are marked “Partner link”.

Dogivo never changes the merchant chosen by the user or the product added. Dogivo is not a seller and is not a party to the sale: the order, payment, delivery, warranties and after-sales service are solely a matter for the merchant and its terms. Prices shown in Dogivo are for information only; only the price shown by the merchant at the time of purchase is binding.

No reward, discount or benefit is granted for using these links.

6. AI Assistant (Google Gemini)

The gift idea assistant uses Google Gemini technology.

• Limitation: Suggestions are generated automatically by artificial intelligence. Dogivo does not guarantee the accuracy, relevance or availability of the suggested products.
• Liability: Dogivo cannot be held responsible for advice given by the AI or for the consequences (material or non-material) of a gift bought following a suggestion from the assistant.

7. Responsibility for Contributions

Payment information (bank details, phone number, third-party link) is entered under the sole responsibility of the event organizer.

• Dogivo does not check the accuracy of bank details.
• Dogivo accepts no liability for transfer errors, fraud between contributors or disagreements about how the collected funds are managed.
• Marking a contribution as “paid” is purely informative and has no legal value as proof of payment.

8. Chat

The app includes a chat intended exclusively for organizing the group gift.

• Responsibility: Users are solely responsible for the statements, information or content they share through the chat.
• Moderation: Dogivo does not moderate messages in advance. However, Dogivo reserves the right to delete any message that is reported or deemed contrary to applicable law (insults, harassment, racist remarks, etc.) and to suspend the offending user's access.

9. User Conduct

Users agree to:

• Not impersonate anyone else.
• Not publish insulting, defamatory or unlawful content (ideas, nicknames).
• Not attempt to harm the integrity of the Platform (hacking, spam, data scraping).

Dogivo reserves the right to delete any content or account that does not follow these rules, without notice.

10. Intellectual Property

All elements of the Platform (logo, interface, code, texts, Dogivo brand) are the exclusive property of Dogivo SASU. Any reproduction or representation, in whole or in part, is prohibited without prior written authorization.

11. Technical Liability

Dogivo strives to keep the Platform running but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Dogivo cannot be held responsible for damage resulting from the use of the Internet (viruses, intrusions, data loss) or from problems with third-party services.

12. Changes to the Terms

Dogivo may change these Terms at any time. Users are informed of changes by a notice on the Platform or by an update of the “Last updated” date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
